StartSmart Business Plan Series | Houston Center SBDC

Join UH SBDC's Vision2Venture pathway to develop a comprehensive, best-practice business plan. Through structured learning and immediate application, you'll transform your business concept into a detailed roadmap for success. Each three-hour session combines brief lectures with hands-on activities, allowing you to work directly on your business plan while receiving expert guidance from industry professionals and SBDC advisors. This eight-week series will be held on Mondays, January 13, 27, February 3, 10, 17, 24, March 3, and 10, 2025. Class will not be held on Monday, January 20, 2025. Attendance is required at all eight sessions in order to leave with a business plan.

This 8-week program is designed for entrepreneurs who have a clear business concept and are ready to develop a detailed business plan. Participants should be prepared to commit to weekly pre-work and active participation in hands-on workshop activities.

The SBDC reserves the right to cancel a class for insufficient enrollment, weather emergencies, and other unforeseen circumstances. Should a cancellation occur, we will use the email you provided to contact you.
Preregistration is highly recommended. If an event is canceled or postponed and you have not preregistered, we will not be able to contact you.
If you choose to register at the door, you will need your mobile device to complete your registration otherwise you will not be allowed to attend.
Satisfactory meeting room temperatures are difficult to maintain. Always bring a sweater or jacket to ensure comfort.
No children under the age of 16 are allowed in the workshop.
