During this session, you will hear from a credit expert as he shares how a credit score impacts your ability to receive preferred interest rates, open a line a credit, get a loan, and even obtain home or automobile insurance. You will also learn how personal and business credit are intertwined, how to obtain your credit report, and understand the information on it. Register now!

Satisfactory meeting room temperatures are difficult to maintain. Always bring a sweater or jacket to ensure comfort.
No children under the age of 16 are allowed in the workshop.

Rodolfo Cavazos Jr. Rodolfo (Rudy) Cavazos Jr. has 30 years of experience in the personal finance and credit industry. Cavazos is a business school graduate from Texas A&I University. He also attended Midwestern State University where he worked on his master’s in political science and completed the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification program at Rice University. After receiving his bachelor’s, Cavazos spent 18 years in corporate America in personal money and credit management. During his tenure, he and his team were responsible for five major markets that including Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, and Chicago. Cavazos and his team of consultants provided personal money and credit management education. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Cavazos had a syndicated Finance segment on both Telemundo and Univision networks. After leaving the corporate world, Cavazos spent 2 years at the Federal Reserve Bank of the Dallas-Houston Branch, leading the Houston Money Week initiative. In 2016, Cavazos founded The BridgePath, a boutique non-profit that provides expert comprehensive, and fundamental personal financial education to both general and low to moderate-income consumers and small business owners/entrepreneurs. |
