Join us for our Small Business Symposium designed to instruct, inspire, empower, and excite small business owners and individuals seeking to start a new business. You’ll hear from a special keynote speaker, Elliot Cook, who serves as Director of Real Estate for the Retail Academy Division of Retail Strategies. You will also have the opportunity to participate in the "Community Retail: Renew, Reuse, and Revitalize" session, where we dive into the latest retail trends and highlight best practices for community revitalization. Discover how to creatively repurpose old retail buildings to foster both national and local retail growth, revitalizing your community's economic landscape. And learn the strategic balance between attracting major retailers and nurturing local businesses, essential for sustainable community development and vibrant local economies.

The SBDC reserves the right to cancel a class for insufficient enrollment, weather emergencies, and other unforeseen circumstances. Should a cancellation occur, we will use the email you provided to contact you.
Preregistration is highly recommended. If an event is canceled or postponed and you have not preregistered, we will not be able to contact you.
If you choose to register at the door, you will need your mobile device to complete your registration otherwise you will not be allowed to attend.
Satisfactory meeting room temperatures are difficult to maintain. Always bring a sweater or jacket to ensure comfort.
No children under the age of 16 are allowed in the workshop.
