This five-week series is designed to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with a comprehensive introduction to starting their businesses correctly. You'll explore essential topics such as business feasibility, funding, legalities and tax responsibilities, operating elements, and positioning the business for future growth. Participants will engage in class activities, work outside of class, and meet regularly with their advisor to ensure they are well-prepared to launch their ventures. The series will be held on Mondays, October 28, November 4, 11, 18, and 25.  Certificates of completion will be given to anyone attending at least four of the five sessions.

This series is intended for entrepreneurs in the pre-venture startup phase or those with businesses less than one year old. It is ideal for individuals seeking to gain foundational knowledge and actionable steps to start their own business.

Preregistration is highly recommended. If an event is canceled or postponed and you have not preregistered, we will not be able to contact you.

If you choose to register at the door, you will need your mobile device to complete your registration otherwise you will not be allowed to attend.

Satisfactory meeting room temperatures are difficult to maintain. Always bring a sweater or jacket to ensure comfort.

No children under the age of 16 are allowed in the workshop.
