Target Audience: This workshop is intended for individuals that understand the Federal Government procurement process and need specific hands-on instruction on how to identify Federal Government agencies that are buying their products and services.
Description: This workshop walks you through the process of using the USA Spending website to identify spending patterns in federal procurement. We will introduce tools that are provided at no cost by the Federal Government to perform market research to help you understand what Federal Government agencies buy your products and services and the contracting methods they use.
The class will take you through the full cycle from market research and opportunity identification, to finding specific information on purchases made by the Federal Government. We will discuss how to use the information gained for marketing to those agencies.
This is a hands-on class – you will have a seat at a computer and will walk through the USA Spending site with instructor-guided exercises.
Learning Objective: The objective of the workshop is to provide the participants with the tools to conduct market research in order to understand what Federal Government agencies are buying your products and services and the contracting methods used to contract for them.
